Alexandra Physiotherapy Clinic

I have been qualified since 1993 when I worked to obtain a BSC Hons in Physiotherapy at Nottingham University. As a student I had a keen interest in sports injuries; in particular Rugby and my career initially took me down the sports injury route providing pitch side physiotherapy at pre and post games.

Although I had a passion and a love for this area of physiotherapy the first 6 years of my training as a qualified practitioner involved a general medical application. This allowed me to work within a hospital environment enabling me to further develop my experience in a variety of different medical areas. The exposure and experience that I gained from this type of training has been invaluable in my application as a musculoskeletal therapist.

Since then I have had the privilege of working with locally based orthopaedic consultants, which has enabled me to liaise directly between patients and consultants with any queries, providing an all round service for my clients.

After 18 years as a physiotherapist I still have the same strong passion and desire for the industry and over the years have consolidated all my learning, enabling me to treat and rehabilitate all musculoskeletal injuries.
